Application

Remove 1 knuckle full from can and emulsify in palms. Spread evenly across hands until fully covered. Apply to dry hair starting at crown and working toward front. Work from scalp to ends and liberally cover hair. Finish by combing hair into desired shape. Apply more if necessary.

Tip

Cocktail with other Reuzel products to unleash the power of Surf Cream. Layer with Matte Styling Paste or Clay Matte Pomade for a medium hold that naturally separates throughout the day. On longer hair, use at the root for texture and definition.

"I have fine, silver hair that’s longer (over the ears and brushing my shoulders), with a slight wave and a few tighter curls depending on how it dries and what I use. As an older guy with a mildly receding hairline, finding a product that adds real lift and volume—without feeling heavy, stiff, or unnatural—is rare. Reuzel Surf Cream delivers exactly that. Applied to clean, dry hair, it gives a natural, effortless beach/surf texture with great movement. It also layers well: on workdays, I use Surf Cream first, then a touch of Reuzel Grooming Cream on the sides and ends for a cleaner finish. Both are excellent products, and I’m genuinely impressed by the quality and consistency across the line."

Decent but leaves a film in the hair

"I purchased this product because it was light and didn’t leave my hair sticky feeling. However, after using it I noticed that it leaves a white residue in my hair causing it to have the effect of dandruff. An hour after I apply I just have comb my hands through my hair to blend the flakiness in. Other than that it’s a decent product and I would still recommend it."
