Application

Remove 1 knuckle full from can and emulsify in palms. Spread evenly across hands until fully covered. Apply to dry hair starting at crown and working toward front. Work from scalp to ends and liberally cover hair. Finish by combing hair into desired shape. Apply more if necessary.

Reuzel Pink Grease is the top choice for thick, curly, or coarse, unruly hair. The oil-based formula has the weight and hold needed to flatten curls and lock thick hair into structured shapes like quiffs, contours, and pompadours. It's also the best Reuzel pomade for hot, humid climates — the oil base resists moisture far better than water-based formulas. For medium thickness or wavy hair, Reuzel Green Grease (medium hold, oil-based) is the lighter alternative. For fine hair, water-based formulas like Blue or Red provide a similar high-shine finish without the weight.

How do you apply Reuzel Pink Grease Pomade?

Apply Pink Grease to dry hair, not wet. Scoop a small amount, warm it thoroughly between your palms until it softens to be more pliable, then work it through hair from roots to ends. Using a wide tooth comb, style into desired shape. Oil-based pomades like Pink need to be fully warmed before application — applying cold pomade leads to clumping and uneven distribution. Use less product than you think — Pink is dense and goes a long way. Because it doesn't dry, you can rework your hair throughout the day. The oil-based formula won't flake or harden.

Does Reuzel Pink Grease wash out easily?

No - Pink Grease is oil-based and requires a degreasing routine to fully remove, unlike Reuzel's water-based pomades. To remove cleanly, Reuzel recommends applying Daily Conditioner to dry hair, let sit for 3-5 minutes, massaging thoroughly, then rinsing — followed by Scrub Shampoo and finally Daily Shampoo. This three-step process breaks down the oil-based hold that regular shampoo alone cannot dissolve.
